1. The first step to launching Facebook Live is to create a Facebook Page.

Once you have your Facebook Page, you are ready to increase your impact by implementing Facebook Live. The best decision to make at this point is what consistent day and time you will go Live on Facebook. This is a critical foundational step the day, and time you will go Live for each event. You may want to ask your Facebook page followers what day and time would be best for them. Maybe even create a poll on Instagram and ask your followers the best day of the week and time for you to come together on a Live event. Once you decide on a specific day and time, you can announce the event and invite others to join. This established time for the event will help you create consistency so that fans, followers, and friends can make plans to attend your Live event and plan to attend your future Facebook Lives.

2. The next step to successfully increase your impact by using Facebook Live is deciding how to stream the event.

You can stream directly from your Facebook page, but this is very limited. There are streaming platforms that offer so many varieties in delivering your Live stream. You will need to research different stream options for your Facebook Live. Here are three excellent streaming options:

  1. BeliveTV.com is the software that I have had my best success creating and delivering my FB Lives for over two years. You can customize the graphics and have multiple screens available to stream. You can interact with your audience in real-time, answer questions, share comments, photos, agendas, show your photos, graphics, and videos in the stream. You can stream to up to five platforms at the same time.
  2. Streamyard.com is a live streaming studio in your browser. Interview guests, share your screen, and much more. Stream directly to Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other platforms. StreamYard makes it easy to broadcast your live show to all audiences on multiple platforms at once. Interview guests, sync comments, and brand every broadcast.
  3. Vimeo is brand new to Live streaming. Their new events platform will engage your viewers before, during, and after your event.

All three of these streaming software programs have selections in what they deliver, and the costs for each vary. Once you choose the Livestream software you use, this will set you apart in the way it is created with your branding and professional, polished performance in every recording at every Live event.

3. Producing your Facebook Live & setting it up for success.

Now that you have a specific day and time to record your Live event and implement the streaming software of your choice, you are ready to produce your Facebook Live. Another essential part of increasing your impact and reaching the most people is keeping them engaged. The best way to keep your Facebook Live participants involved is to keep the events informative and delivered in less than thirty minutes. You want to give a powerful message with every Live event and have it done efficiently. Once you master this element, your fans, followers, and friends will attend as often as possible, and then they will share the Live event with their following.

4. Repurpose your Facebook Live videos.

One of the best parts of Live streaming is that you can repurpose the videos. You can take segments of the recording and make snippets to use in marketing. You can create Facebook posts with the video. You can make a Facebook story or Instagram story with the video. There are so many ways to repurpose your recorded Live events repeatedly.

One more huge way to increase your impact with Facebook Live events is to take the recordings and upload them to Youtube. You can create a Youtube channel and upload all of your Live streams to add additional followers to your brand. Youtube is becoming a significant player in all marketing plans, and you will be right on time with your new Live streaming events recordings.

Every author wants to reach as many readers as possible with their books. One of the most potent ways to increase your impact is to begin recording Live events and streaming them to Facebook and as many other outlets as possible. The more consistent you are with the time and day of the Live events produced in an informative and timely fashion, the better outcome you will see in engaged attendance. The streaming software can make your recordings look as though you are coming from a television studio professionally branded. Then you can take these excellent and entertaining recorded videos and parlay them into multiple platforms marketing your message to thousands of people. Facebook Live and streaming live videos is one of the most effective ways to increase your impact and market your brand to the world in an entertaining, informative, and unique way, gaining fans, followers, and friends worldwide.
