About Christian Indie Publishing Association
Christian Indie Publishing Association (CIPA) was created in 2004 to provide independently published authors, small publishers, and traditionally published authors published by small presses with resources to publish professionally and market effectively. Learning about the Christian publishing industry is challenging. Why do it alone when you can join this Christian publishing association to provide the support you need? The culmination of the CIPA discounts, educational materials, and marketing tools makes your publishing experience easier and more profitable.
About CIPA’s Leadership
Sarah Bolme founded Christian Small Publishers Association (CSPA) in 2004 with the integrated marketing consultant Edward Bolme and Dr. Johnny Wilson, a periodical-industry veteran. All three owned small presses. The association was renamed Christian Indie Publishing Association (CIPA) in 2019 to reflect the publishing landscape better.
In 2020, Susan attended the National Religious Broadcasting Convention with CIPA. On the last day of the convention, Sarah told Susan that she felt God was leading her in new ministry direction and was stepping down from CIPA leadership in 2021. She had been praying to find the right person to replace her. She felt CIPA was God’s ministry, and he would lead. Susan prayed with Sarah about her future ministry, and Sarah got chills during the prayer.
That night, Susan was awakened and wrestled with the divine prodding to manage CIPA. The next day, Sarah and Susan discussed this further. In 2021, Susan Neal RN, MBA, MHS, became the director of the association. She is a Certified Advanced Writer and Speaker Association Coach and hybrid author. She desires to help others publish and sell their books. She is the author of seven healthy living books. Her self-published number one Amazon best-seller, 7 Steps to Get Off Sugar and Carbohydrates, won the Selah award and sold over 15,000 copies in three years.
Susan is a nurse with a masters in health science and healthy living expert. She lives the healthy lifestyle that she teaches about in her books and on her website at SusanUNeal.com. She lives on five-acres in northwest Florida and has her own fruit orchard, vegetable garden, and chickens.
